The event brought together two remarkable speakers who shared their journeys in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, offering invaluable insights on perseverance, innovation, and community impact.
Our first speaker, Raihanna Jalloh, a distinguished Software Engineer at Byte Limited, captivated the audience with her creative outlook and dedication to empowering others. Raihanna’s work at Byte Limited highlights her technical expertise, where she plays a pivotal role in driving growth through innovative software solutions. Her passion for community-building is equally evident in her work with Aurora Foundation, where she facilitates technology training for young girls, fostering confidence and foundational skills in the tech space.
As the Founder and CEO of Upskills Africa, Raihanna has created a platform for students at Central University to develop essential tech skills through engaging workshops. Her leadership as the Minister of Innovation in the Student Union Government further underscores her commitment to youth empowerment. Whether organizing successful events like Pitch Night or advocating for youth leadership at international forums, Raihanna’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of technology and leadership.
Our second speaker, Andrew Sahr Norma, CEO of Greentech Bioenergy, brought an inspiring message of resilience and growth. Andrew shared his experiences as a leader and innovator in the renewable energy sector, emphasizing the importance of embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. With a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Andrew’s passion for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and his entrepreneurial drive have fueled his mission to develop lasting solutions for his community.
