TESTIMONIALS

TIANGAY MARTHA TUCKER FASHION
DESIGNER/TAILOR

Martha, as she likes to be called, is 26 years old. After finishing secondary school, she learned to be a tailor and knew she wanted to become a fashion designer. After attending a fashion design course at Aurora she started to do different jobs for Aurora´s staff, and when COVID hit, she was hired to make 2000 masks that Aurora donated to its partners. Following successful cooperation she became part of the Sweet Salone project by making masks. She says it has helped her a lot financially to start working with Aurora. She can now save to buy equipment needed for her tailoring and fashion business. Through Aurora, she has also greatly impacted her knowledge about entrepreneurship and how to run her company Tian´s Closet. She is very grateful to have crossed paths with Aurora.

He is also able to send all his kids to school and take of his family. He is also grateful for the training he has received through the project and says he has learned to make new designs and expand their products from only making their products in their old fashioned way.
