Aurora Foundation’s Entrepreuneurship training at WODA SL

14.10.24

On October 14, 2024, the Aurora Foundation had the privilege of hosting a transformative full-day entrepreneurship training session at the Women Development Association Sierra Leone (WODA SL) premises. The event, designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with foundational business skills, was attended by 48 enthusiastic participants, all of whom completed the training successfully.

The session covered a comprehensive range of topics, including the basics of entrepreneurship, business planning, financial literacy, and the essentials of identifying market opportunities. Through interactive discussions, practical exercises, and case studies, participants gained hands-on knowledge to help them start and sustain their own businesses.

Facilitated by experienced trainers from the Aurora Foundation, the workshop aimed to empower women and men alike, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset that will positively impact both their personal growth and the broader community. This training session is part of Aurora Foundation’s ongoing commitment to building economic resilience and supporting local entrepreneurs across West Africa.

At Aurora Foundation, we believe that access to quality education and training is a key driver for sustainable development. By working closely with local partners like WODA SL, we are committed to nurturing the potential of emerging entrepreneurs and contributing to the long-term growth of the region.

We are proud of the dedication and enthusiasm shown by all 48 participants, who are now better equipped to turn their business ideas into reality. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with WODA SL and other local organizations to empower more individuals and create lasting change in Sierra Leone and beyond.

Stay tuned for more updates on our entrepreneurial initiatives at Aurora Foundation.
