aurora music

Our main aim is to connect and inspire musicians in Sierra Leone and Iceland. Our hope is that eventually we will have erected a bridge between the Sierra Leonean music industry and its international counterparts.

The Aurora Impact Programme is a transformative initiative committed to empowering young entrepreneurs and innovators, with a strong emphasis on supporting the youth and women. Through free access to startup incubation, ICT courses, and entrepreneurship training, the programme nurtures talent, fosters innovation, and drives the creation of sustainable businesses. 

Since its launch, Aurora Impact has successfully run seven cohorts, with the first five funded by the Aurora Foundation as its flagship project. Cohort 6 received backing from the Icelandic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while Cohort 7 was supported by UNDP. 

With a beneficiary-centered approach, Aurora Impact tailors its support to meet the unique needs of entrepreneurs, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to build thriving, impactful ventures.

We seek to empower young Sierra Leoneans, particularly women, by providing courses and workshops that enhance their capacity building. Our most important training platform is the Pre-Accelerator Programme for Young Entrepreneurs which encourages innovation and entrepreneurship for a group of extraordinarily promising individuals.
