Alfred Akibo-Betts is our newest advisory board member, we welcome him wholeheartedly to the Aurora family and look forward to the friendship and cooperation.  

Alfred is an internationally renowned Tax Expert and Chartered Accountant with over sixteen years of experience. Alfred has a passion for growth of the entrepreneurship sector in Sierra Leone and has actively participated in the expansion of the sector via investments as well as co-founding the Freetown Business School. Alfred knows the ins and outs of the ever-evolving Sierra Leonean tax environment, having worked in senior positions at the tax authority in Sierra Leone, where he oversaw the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax. In addition, Alfred works internationally as a Tax Expert for the IMF, World Bank, and the African Tax Administration Forum.

Alfred has now founded his own tax advisory firm here in Freetown The Betts Firm, committed to providing tax advisory, accounting, and bookkeeping services. We at Aurora are ecstatic to have Alfred on board and look forward to the future.
