New solar panels installed at the Lettie Stuart Pottery Centre

18.01.22

Last week new solar panels were installed at the Lettie Stuart Pottery Centre as an addition to the ones already there, providing the Centre with clean solar energy. We are increasing the solar power capacities to produce more energy for the technical upgrading and modernizing of the pottery Centre. New machinery is soon to arrive and will facilitate the clay production and pottery-making process for the potters at LSP. The funding for both the solar panels and the new machinery is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Iceland. The LSP staff and we have high hopes for both the solar energy to facilitate the process of technical upgrading and the machinery to assist the development of the centre.
