Christmas Market with Sweet Salone products in Freetown and Reykjavík

22.11.21

Over this past weekend Aurora Foundation held its annual Christmas market in Freetown with Sweet Salone products. All the products are made in Sierra Leone by different artisans that have collaborated with various international designers. There was also a large table with pottery items just out of the kiln from the Lettie Stuart Pottery Center. The guests appreciated the variety of goods and many took the chance to sort Christmas presents for their loved ones.

Two weeks ago, we also held a market in Reykjavík and it was a pleasure to see people enjoy the unique products and the atmosphere at Mengi. We had recently shipped a container full of unique products and the reception exceeded our expectations. As in Freetown many used the opportunity to buy gifts for the Holiday season and we want to extend our thanks to all those who attended our markets and we look very much forward to seeing you all again (and more) at our markets next year!
