The music scene in Iceland is large, vibrant, and colorful. One of the spaces where interesting concerts are often held is at Mengi in Óðinsgata, Reykjavík Iceland. Over the past five years, Mengi has held numerous concerts and art events, and the spectrum is extremely diverse. During those times, they have established themselves as one of the most exciting art space in Iceland.

Mengi is a multi-purpose event space managed by artists in Reykjavik, Iceland. It is a non-profit venture where the purpose is to foster innovation, support the grassroots, and nurture the heritage of creative art, thoughts, and collaboration.

Aurora collaborated with Mengi in 2018 when Mengi hosted an event by Aurora and the design team 1+1+1 when a new line of products under the Sweet Salone project was launched during Design March, Iceland´s biggest design festival.

Aurora has gone into a more extensive collaboration where Aurora will financially support Mengi over two years from June 2020 to June 2022. Mengi will host several events for Aurora over the same period.
